To ALL officers, LEOs, spouses, friends of LEOs and whoever else believes in the powers of prayers:

A Boise, Idaho Police Officer is being worked up to have back surgery done. He is NOT YET scheduled to have it, but, he has been told that having it might be the only thing for him to "get better"!

I am now requesting all those who believe in God and the powers of prayer to pray concerning this officer so that God's Will may be accomplished in the matter. And, if it is possible, so that he need not have that proposed surgery.

IF, however, he is to HAVE it, then, I want God's Will to be accomplished in that case also.

His wife, also, needs prayers so that she will be able to stand by her officer husband during this time of needs for strength and encouragement for the both of them.

I will keep all here updated as time goes by concerning the situation.

Thanks, and, may the Lord bless all of you.

Chappy (Rev. Ruben J. Schmidt, DD)

p.s. Anyone who wishes to communicate with me concerning either this or other issues, Pooky has my e-mail address --- just tell her what you wish to discuss with me, and, she will contact me afterwhich I will get in touch with you.

To all who have read my message for prayers, here is the latest.

The officer is to have surgery sometime in January, but, the date has not yet been set.

So, I request to keep praying --- it is not too late, he may not even have to have it even if we pray hard enough, but, if so, may it be done with God's Will, then, too.

Thanks again for reading this.

This is to all those who responded to my request for prayers for a Boise Police officer.

He has had his surgery and is home again and did not even have to stay in the hospital but only a few days and usually when that type of surgery is done, the patient remains bed-ridden for several weeks. So, I attribute his rapid healing to all the prayers that have been said in his behalf.

Thanks to all and my the Lord bless all of you richly.

Got no comments on this message, but I am sure some of you have read it.

Anyway, this update on that officer may be late, but as they say "better late than never" so here goes.

The officer needing the prayers had his surgery and was out of the hospital in record time, which, I attribute to all of you who have prayed in his behalf. He back on duty, although not full duty, but on duty just the same, and, even though he still has problems, they are minor compared to his problems before the surgery.

Thanks to all who have remembered him in your prayers.
